Brand: Medterra. Report-card status: Concern. Medterra provides a public Certificate of Analysis hub, product and package routes to batch information, a 30-day refund policy, and a subscription program with account controls. The current concern is limited to consumer-facing THC wording: current broad-spectrum pages use categorical THC-free and non-intoxication language while Medterra also describes its testing in terms such as non-detect.
Brand Report Card
| Check | Result | Current evidence |
|---|---|---|
| COA access | Pass | Medterra maintains a public Certificates of Analysis page and links testing from current product pages. |
| Batch matching | Pass | Medterra says each product maps to a dedicated certificate landing page with batch information, and current seller pages say product QR codes can retrieve batch-specific lab results. |
| Test-panel coverage | Unknown | Medterra describes third-party potency and purity testing and public quality-control information, but BR-019 did not inspect a current certificate for every product category or assign a brand-wide contaminant-panel Pass. |
| Label and product-page clarity | Concern | Current broad-spectrum pages display THC-Free badges and categorical non-intoxication language, while Medterra’s own educational copy also describes testing that confirms non-detect THC. |
| THC wording | Concern | The September 5 CBDCafe audit rated Medterra Concern for THC wording. The September 12 recheck still found categorical THC-free and very-low drug-test-risk language that goes beyond what a laboratory reporting threshold can establish for every person. |
| Refund terms | Pass | Medterra’s current FAQ says customers may request a refund of the full purchase price, minus shipping costs, within 30 days of receipt. It says Medterra covers return shipping in most instances. |
| Subscription cancellation | Pass | The current Subscribe & Save page advertises 25% savings, free shipping, adjustable frequency, and cancellation controls; current product pages also say cancel anytime with no commitment. |
| Customer service test | Not Tested | CBDCafe did not contact Medterra customer service for BR-019. |
| Regulatory-record search | Not Assessed | BR-019 does not use an enforcement-record search as a scoring field. This review is based on the seller documentation and audit evidence linked below. |
| Evidence freshness | Pass | The original 20-brand audit finding was checked September 5, 2026. Medterra certificate, product, refund, and subscription documentation was rechecked September 12, 2026. |
Certificate Access and Batch Traceability
Medterra’s current Certificate of Analysis hub states that each product has a corresponding certificate available through the website and that the record leads to a dedicated landing page containing batch information, ingredient profiles, and quality-control information.
Current Medterra collection pages also say product labels carry QR codes that link to batch-specific lab results. That provides a repeatable package-to-report route for buyers. A successful link still needs the normal identity checks: product, strength, batch, report date, units, reporting limits, and the panels actually present.

THC-Free and Non-Detect Wording
The September 5 documentation audit rated Medterra Concern for THC wording, and the September 12 recheck supports keeping that narrow result.
The current Enhanced Relief Broad Spectrum CBD Oil page carries a THC-Free badge and describes the line as THC-free. Its FAQ says the broad-spectrum oil will not get a user high because the products are THC-free. Medterra educational copy about drug testing says isolate batches are confirmed as non-detect for THC and describes broad-spectrum products as carrying virtually no risk of a failed drug test.
A THC-free marketing phrase, a non-detect laboratory result, and a prediction about intoxication or drug-testing outcome are different statements. BR-019 records the wording gap without making a chemistry claim about a batch that was not independently tested by CBDCafe.

Refund and Subscription Terms
Medterra’s current FAQ says a customer who is not satisfied may request a refund of the full purchase price, minus shipping costs, within 30 days of the product received date. The company says it covers return shipping in most instances and directs customers to its return portal or customer service. Purchases made through another distributor or retailer must be handled through the original purchase location.
The current Subscribe & Save page advertises a 25% discount and free shipping, with a frequency the customer can change. Current product pages also say the subscription can be canceled at any time with no commitment.
