Brand: CBDistillery. Report-card status: Concern. CBDistillery provides product-linked third-party lab reports, a published 60-day guarantee, and subscriptions that can be modified or canceled anytime. The main concern is claim-to-document consistency, especially THC-Free / 0% THC wording on a sampled product that also carries a delta-9-THC Proposition 65 warning.
Brand Report Card
| Check | Result | Current evidence |
|---|---|---|
| COA access | Pass | CBDistillery product pages link directly to third-party laboratory reports and state that products are third-party tested for batch consistency. |
| Batch matching | Concern | PP-008 confirmed a current product-linked COA for the 1000mg Targeted Relief Stick, but the seller page does not expose the lot number next to the product information. A direct current link is useful, but it is less transparent than a visible package-to-lot lookup system. |
| Test-panel coverage | Unknown | The current seller says products are rigorously third-party tested. The linked PP-008 certificate could not be read fully enough in this review cycle to score the sampled contaminant panels, so brand-wide panel coverage remains Unknown. |
| Label clarity | Concern | The sampled product page contains multiple state-availability statements that do not fully agree and mixes measurable product facts with targeted-relief, onset, duration, recovery, and repeated-use claims. |
| THC wording | Concern | The sampled stick is marketed as THC-Free, CBD isolate, and 0% THC while the same live page carries a California warning that the product can expose users to delta-9 THC. The unread chemistry leaves the conflict unresolved. |
| Refund terms | Pass | Current standard product pages describe a 60-day money-back guarantee for qualifying first-time purchases of one product. Separate Try Before You Buy offers explicitly exclude recurring orders from that 60-day guarantee, so the standard guarantee must not be applied to those offer-specific renewals. |
| Subscription cancellation | Pass | The standard subscription page says customers can adjust frequency, pause, modify, or cancel at any time. Try Before You Buy is a separate 28-day trial that auto-enrolls into recurring orders unless canceled within the trial period; those recurring orders are stated as nonrefundable. |
| Customer service test | Not Tested | CBDCafe did not contact customer service for BR-008. |
| FDA warning-letter check | Pass | CBDCafe did not identify CBDistillery or Balanced Health Botanicals in FDA’s current CBD warning-letter search. This Pass applies only to the named search; absence from it is not FDA approval or certification. |
| Evidence freshness | Pass | The sampled product page, current product-linked COA, guarantee language, subscription terms, THC wording, and seller claims were rechecked September 5, 2026. |
Product-Linked Lab Reports Are Easy to Reach
The current 1000mg Targeted Relief Stick page includes a direct link to its laboratory report and identifies the product as third-party lab tested. CBDistillery’s current store pages also state that products are tested for quality and consistency in every batch.
PP-008 used the seller’s current COA link to connect the reviewed record to the 1000mg THC-Free relief stick. The remaining limitation is that the product page does not display a visible lot number for the buyer to compare with packaging.
THC-Free Wording Conflicts With the Product Warning
The current relief-stick page describes the product as THC-Free, CBD isolate, and 0% THC. On that same page, a Proposition 65 warning says the product can expose users to chemicals including delta-9 THC.
That is a material documentation conflict. The linked certificate remains available, but PP-008 could not read the chemistry reliably enough to decide whether the warning is generic, trace-level, or directly supported by the current batch result. The field therefore stays Concern rather than being resolved by assumption.
See THC-Free CBD and Non-Detect for the difference between marketing language and laboratory reporting limits.
Standard Terms and Try Before You Buy Are Different
CBDistillery currently publishes a 60-day money-back guarantee for qualifying standard purchases, generally limited to a first-time purchase of one product. Its standard subscription page says shoppers can choose delivery frequency, modify or pause the subscription, and cancel at any time through their account or customer service.
The separate Try Before You Buy offer uses different terms. The trial lasts 28 days and automatically enrolls the customer into a recurring order unless canceled within that trial period. The seller states that the initial shipping charge is nonrefundable, recurring orders under the offer are nonrefundable, and the offer is not eligible for the standard 60-day guarantee.
CBDCafe keeps those routes separate so a flexible standard subscription policy is not misread as a refund promise for an offer-specific renewal.

Seller Claims Go Beyond Product Measurements
Current CBDistillery pages include targeted-relief, calming, recovery, onset, duration, wellness, and repeated-use claims. The store also offers a quiz intended to match people with products based on needs and lifestyle.
CBDCafe records those claims as part of the current seller documentation but does not treat them as verified treatment, symptom-relief, personal-dose, onset, or duration evidence.
